Delete your Takin account and data
You can ask us to permanently delete your Takin account and personal data here — without signing in or reinstalling the app. Fill in the form below and we'll take care of it.
What gets deleted
When your request is processed, we permanently erase or anonymize:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your home address, city and saved GPS location
- Your profile photo
- Your push-notification device tokens
- Your account credit balance
- Any active or pending bookings you have
Your account is permanently closed and can no longer be used to sign in.
What we keep, and why
Records of completed jobs and their amounts/fees, plus any ratings or reviews, are kept in anonymized form — no longer linked to your identity — for up to 7 years to meet tax, accounting and legal obligations. They are deleted once that period ends. Note: Takin does not collect or store payment-card details; jobs are paid in cash directly between you and the technician.
How long it takes
We process deletion requests within 30 days and email you a confirmation once it's done.
